Early life

Dr. Rakhshanfar graduated in the top 10% of her class from Beheshti Dental School in Tehran in 2001. She was a dentist in Iran for 4 years before moving to Canada. In 2008, she graduated with honours and made the Dean’s List after completing the International Degree Program at the University of Toronto. She later completed an Implant Residency at UofT.

Career

Dr. Rakhshanfar is the founder and medical director of Viva Dental Orangeville, where she manages a team dedicated to providing quality dental care. Her clinic offers
services that cover general dentistry, cosmetic work, implantology, and care for sleep-related disorders. She specializes in implant surgery, bone grafting, IV and oral
sedation, gum grafting, and CT scan technology, allowing her to treat various dental needs accurately.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rakhshanfar is enthusiastic about education and mentorship. She is a clinical faculty member at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry and has taught at Maple Leaf College and the Canadian College of Healthcare. Her commitment to education is reflected in her commitment to the dental profession and continues to be demonstrated through her support and nurturing of future dental clinicians.

Dr. Rakhshanfar is licensed to practice dentistry in Canada, the United States, and Tehran.
