Jimmy Mui is a Chartered Professional Accountant who has broad executive-level experience. Mui joined the Canadian Medical Association in 2017 and serves in a dual role as its Executive Vice President of Corporate Services, also serving as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He was instrumental in the successful sale of MD Financial Management in 2018.

He then went on to get his Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo from 1992 to 1993.
Mui graduated from Western University in 2014. His work experience began with Corel from 1993 to 1998, where he was an accounting manager. From there, he became a Senior Consultant for Epicor Software from 1998 to 2005. Then he became a Controller for Dell from 2005 to 2007. After his time at Dell, he moved to Hydro Ottawa as a Director of Acquisitions from 2007 to 2008.
Then he became Executive Director and Corporate Support Directorate for the Ottawa Police Service. He was here from 2008 to 2011. After this, he became a Board Member to the Distress Centre of Ottawa and Region from 2011 to 2013. Next, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the Canadian Red Cross from 2012 to 2014.
After leaving the Red Cross, he became Chief Financial Officer to Croix-Rouge Canadienne from 2014 to 2015. He was also a Board Member for The Learning Partnership from 2020 to 2022.
Jimmy Mui currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Medical Association, a membership organization established in 1867 with an estimated 136 employees. He is part of the C-suite executive team in the finance department, holding a C-level position.
