In June 2018, Fulton was appointed as the Chief Corporate Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc. He is responsible for overseeing global communications, franchising in North America, government relations, and ESG initiatives. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the Tim Hortons Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Prior to joining RBI, Fulton held various positions at Canadian Tire Corporation from 2009 to 2018, as well as Mark’s Work Warehouse and FGL Sports.
During his nine year tenure at Canadian Tire Corporation, he served as the president of its sports division, consisting of Sport Chek, Sport Experts, Atmosphere, National Sports, and Pro Hockey Life. This came after he served several years as the company’s Senior Vice-President of Corporate Affairs. Fulcan also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Sport Chek and Mark’s Work Warehouse, where he was recognized for his leadership in the company’s brand and digital transformation.
Before joining Canadian Tire Corporation, Fulton spend 6 years at International communications company Fleishman-Hillard, holding positions such as General Manager and Senior Partner of the Toronto flagship office.
Prior to his agency experience, Fulton spent 9 years working for various Canadian political leaders in both pronvincial and federal governments. This includes former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien, Ontario Premier Falton McGuinty, and New Brunswick Premier Frank McKenna.
Duncan Fulton currently holds the position of Chairman of the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, a nonprofit organization established in 1974 that provides leadership and outdoor programs for low-income youth aged 12 to 16, through its seven camps located in North America.
