Early life

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Daniel Earle’s connection to Campfire Circle began at an early age. During summers, he spent time at Camp Oochigeas, one of Campfire Circle’s predecessor organizations, where he enjoyed classic camp activities like swimming, climbing, and hiking. These early experiences had a lasting impact on him, helping to shape his outlook on life and inspiring his future commitment to help the camp in any way he could. As a young man, Daniel cultivated a strong interest in science and engineering, winning a scholarship to attend the prestigious Lassonde Mineral Engineering Program at the University of Toronto. There, he graduated with distinction and earned awards, including the Reginald J. Redrupp Award.

Career

Daniel Earle began his career in the mining industry as an entrepreneur, founding a junior exploration company and securing financing to support the evaluation, acquisition, and exploration of various mineral deposits in China, which was opening its sector to foreign investment at the time. Mr. Earle later became the President of a West African-focused junior developing exploration program that led to a high grade gold discovery, as well as gold production that continues to this day.

In 2007, he relocated back to Canada to focus on mining capital markets, where he became a research analyst and rose to become Vice President and Director at TD Securities. TD Securities is the investment banking subsidiary of TD Bank Group, making it one of the largest financial service providers in North America. For more than 12 years, he served TD as an equity research analyst, working with exploration,development and emerging mining companies in the precious and base metals sector. During his time with TD, he established himself as a thought leader and authority on exploration and development projects, advocating a host of companies that were acquired and brought sizable returns to shareholders, such as Aquiline, Comaplex, Andean, Ventana, Lake Shore Gold, Richmont Mines, Arizona Mining, Detour Gold, and Continental Gold, among many others.

In 2019, he joined Solaris Resources as President and CEO, transforming the company into a major player in the copper sector. As Chief Executive, he managed a talented and award-winning team that has been credited with rejuvenating one of the most important copper projects in South America. Mr. Earle oversaw the launch of Solaris Resources as a publicly listed company into a secular bull market for copper, guiding it through the process and generating more than 1000% returns for its shareholders during the subsequent 18 months. Solaris Resources gained industry-wide notoriety and international recognition for its accomplishments during this period.

Daniel Earle currently serves as President and CEO of Highlander Silver, where he led a strategic overhaul of the company to secure a high-grade gold-silver project located in Peru.
