Huber’s educational journey took her to Florence, Italy, where she studied plastic arts. She also pursued a degree in Industrial Design at the Tecnologico de Monterrey (TEC) in Guadalajara. Huber’s architectural career began at the age of 19 when she ventured into independent contracting, with her early breakthrough coming in the form of crafting a jewelry store in Guadalajara, which showcased her talent and creativity.
At the age of 22, Huber designed the Hotelito Desconocido, an exclusive boutique hotel nestled in Mexico’s Costa Alegre region. She secured this contract after triumphing in a head-to-head competition against other international architectural firms.
In 2012, Bibiana Huber achieved a pivotal moment in her career by receiving the Revelation Award at the CIDI Ibero-American Biennial. This award served as a testament to her contributions to the design world, particularly recognizing her work on three distinct hotels in Jalisco. Additionally, she was honored as a finalist for the Adolf Horn Award.
Aside from her leadership role at B-Huber, Huber remains dedicated to sharing her expertise as a speaker at various design conferences throughout Latin America. Her insights and experiences continue to inspire the next generation of creative minds.
