Abadir grew up in Egypt and graduated from Assuit University in 2001 with degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Administration. Shortly after, he immigrated to Canada, honing his skills and gaining invaluable hands-on experience in retail pharmacy. Inspired by his father’s dedication as a compassionate pharmacist, Abadir’s early exposure to diverse healthcare systems cultivated a philosophy rooted in a patient-first and community-oriented approach, demonstrating how a commitment to service can transform lives.

Career

Abadir Nasr’s remarkable pharmacy journey began in 2001 as a Pharmacy Assistant at Drugstore Pharmacy in Mississauga. There, he gained invaluable experience in community pharmacy operations, which fueled his passion for patient care.

In 2005, he embraced a new challenge in Sudbury as a full-time pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart, quickly establishing a reputation for meticulous attention to detail and heartfelt compassion. His commitment extended beyond a single location, as he served as a relief pharmacist at various pharmacies throughout Sudbury for Rexall and others, solidifying his expertise. Transitioning from Northern Ontario, Abadir took on part-time roles at Clinic IDA Pharmacy in Midland and Exeter Guardian Pharmacy, continually expanding his impact in the field.

Today, Abadir is the proud owner of Clinic IDA Pharmacy in Midland, Whitfield Guardian Pharmacy in Elmvale, and the pharmaceutical wholesaler Arvazy in Oakville. His visionary leadership has driven success across these operations, notably overseeing the 70th anniversary of Whitfield’s Guardian Pharmacy. By blending clinical knowledge with strategic business acumen, Abadir has earned a reputation as a trusted healthcare provider and a respected entrepreneur, inspiring those around him.
