Career

Cole Diamond’s entrepreneurial career began in 2009, when he co-founded TalentEgg.com, a popular job site for students and graduates, while simultaneously serving as Vice President of Business Development at YTZ Management Inc, a marketing leading affiliate network marketing company. A few years later, he would establish The Gift Network, an online marketplace for boutique gifts. He would grow that company into Canada’s largest selection gift registry.

In 2017, Cole Diamond co-founded Coinsquare, a groundbreaking cryptocurrency marketplace and broker-dealer that quickly became the largest in Canada. He guided the company from its humble beginnings to eventually raising over $100 million in startup capital and the company would go on to secure regulatory registration with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). His contributions to the crypto space established him as one of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs of the last two decades, and earned him the title of Canada’s top Tech Entrepreneur in 2019, as awarded by the Digital Finance Institute.

Beyond the realm of cryptocurrency, Cole Diamond has made significant strides in other industries, as well. He is the controlling shareholder of Ghost Kitchens International, a company credited with transforming the food delivery market. He also has a well-established presence in North America’s fine dining sector as a co-founder of Vela, a Michelin-rated restaurant in downtown Toronto, and a substantial investor and director in Stella, another Michelin-rated Italian restaurant in West Hollywood, California. Notably, Cole has also invested in a variety of early-stage businesses that have performed well above market expectations, including Big Digital, KEEP, and RoketEV. His latest project, Trade In, is set to make its grand debut in 2025.

When not working, Cole Diamond spends his time with his beloved wife Shelby Gold and their three sons. They currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area.
