Prophet Dr. Kofi Danso is a Ghanian-Canadian minister, known worldwide for his unique prophetic gifts, healing ministry and apostolic leadership. Born on February 12, 1982 in Accra, Ghana, he received his calling in a vision, and has since established a global ministry, which includes Miracle Arena of All Nations, a vibrant multinational church in Toronto.
Soon after receiving his divine calling, young Prophet Kofi began a full-time ministry. By 2000, he had built his first church. As word of his preaching spread, he became one of the youngest preachers in Ghana to be featured on national television.
In 2001, he moved to the Netherlands, and within two years founded God’s Ambassadors Ministries International. Building on the foundation of that still-thriving ministry, Prophet Dr. Danso established churches in Amsterdam and Spain, and began extensive outreach to many countries, including France, Italy, Ghana, nations of the Caribbean, Mexico and Canada, where he and his family now live.
Prophet Dr. Danso can be seen every week delivering powerful sermons at for All Nations in the heart of Toronto, where thousands of worshippers gather to hear his message of healing and hope. An estimated 20,000 also participate online, making it one of the fastest growing churches in Ontario.
Apart from his leadership of Miracle Arena for All Nations, he is best known as the founder of Prophet , a global ministry that seeks to transform lives by helping future leaders realize their full potential, while delivering the undiluted gospel of Christ.
Prophet Kofi Danso is married to Pastor JoAnne Danso and is a committed father to their eight beautiful daughters. Together, the couple has traveled the world preaching, teaching and delivering a life-transforming message to the nations.
Prophet Dr. Danso has ministered in over 31 countries across 5 continents and counting. For the past 25 years, he has dedicated his life in service to others while delivering a message of healing and hope to men and women from all walks of life.
Prophet Dr. Danso is a celebrated author of numerous books, including bestsellers such as The Act of Revival, The Church as a Clinic, and The Passion of Soul Winning. His radio and television ministries broadcast spiritual and economic hope across the airwaves.
He has also devoted time and energy to supplying food, clothes and financial help to the families affected by natural disasters in the Bahamas, Haiti and throughout the Caribbean.
His philanthropic ventures extend to providing housing to widows and orphans in Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, the Caribbean, Ghana and Canada. He is also a generous sponsor of local community food banks which offer groceries and clothing to those lacking resources, along with hosting back-to-school initiatives that provide school supplies, and scholarships for underprivileged youth.
Over the past decade, Prophet Dr. Danso has been widely recognized for his leadership and philanthropy, receiving many awards for his dedication to improving the lives of others. In 2014, he received the Canada Glass Award. He received the Doctor of Divinity from the Canadian Christian Theological Seminary of Calgary in 2015 for his many achievements in the service to others. He was also honored by the (MPP) Minister of the Provincial Parliament for the Vaughan-Woodbridge region in 2022.
In a September 29, 2022 ceremony organized by The Caribbean and African Faith Based Leadership Conference (CAFBLC), Dr. Danso received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. In the same ceremony, held at the National Press Club in the U.S. capital, CAFBLC honored Dr. Danso with its own Global Humanitarian Leadership Award.
The Presidential Leadership Award cited Dr. Danso’s impact in empowering individuals across multiple socio-economic backgrounds. He was honored in recognition for the thousands of hours of service he provides to individuals and families, the proclamation of the gospel, and his efforts to foster hope and transformation in Africa and African communities worldwide.
Attendees at the conference included Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Alima Mahama, His Royal Majesty Okatakyie Asafo Boakye III, King of the Sanzule Kingdom, Ghana West Africa, Rev. Thomas Bowen, Office of Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel, and other dignitaries.
