Faton Aliu

Education

Faton Aliu attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2008-to 2010, receiving a Master’s Degree in Service Management. In 2019, he furthered his education by completing an Executive Program at Harvard University in Cybersecurity. Currently, Aliu is pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration.

Career

Faton has over 20 years of professional experience in quality and information security management, project management, information technology, consulting, training, and auditing. Aliu began his career working for Freelance IT and Project Management from June 1999 to December 2002. For nearly a year, Faton worked for Raiffeisen Bank as an IT Operator, until he was hired as the IT Director of the American University of Kurdistan, where he remained for four years. From January 2005 until January 2011, Faton was named Chief Executive Officer of DCE Management Consulting firm, and the President of PECB Group, where he continues today. Currently, Faton holds numerous positions for different companies. Since September of 2016, he has been a member of the Canadian committee/working groups for the International Organization for Standardization (IOS). As of October 2017, Faton has been the Vice Chairman of the Board for International Personnel Certification Association (IPC). In the same year, he was named Chief Executive Officer of CUNITECH, where he continues to work today with the intent of supporting individuals wanting to enhance their professional competencies and develop new skills to become successful in the modern dynamic environment. CUNITECH Institute is located in Ottawa, Ontario, a company whose priority is to keep up with the latest trends, with the primary objective to offer online education on cutting-edge technologies in the fields of cybersecurity, business management, and digital marketing. As President of PECB Group, Aliu has a system-oriented approach and has proven to be an exceptional leader of the company throughout the years. At PECB, his focus is on establishing corporate goals and strategies. He provides inspirational leadership and direction to all executives, ensuring the continued development and management of a professional and efficient organization.

Achievement

Faton currently serves on the Board of Directors of The International Personnel Certification Association (IPC). He is a Member of the Canadian Committee/Working Groups, and Chief Executive Officer of Wallencore Inc., an accredited software testing laboratory.
