Early life

Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra’s academic journey began at McGill University, where he earned his medical degree in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His skill and dedication to his chosen field were recognized early when he received the prestigious H.S. Burkitt Memorial Prize for outstanding achievement. After graduating from McGill, Dr. Chacra pursued additional training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Houston, Texas, which augmented his command of both functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty procedures.

Career

Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra has held several key positions in the medical and administrative quarters of Quebec’s healthcare system, including Chief of Service at the Centre Intégré Universitaire de Santé et de Services Sociaux du Nord de l’Ile de Montréal.

In 2022, Dr. Chacra founded Clinique 7, a boutique cosmetic surgery clinic located in Montreal. As the Medical Director and Principal Surgeon, he established himself by offering highly personalized care and achieving excellent results, particularly in the fields of rhinoplasty and facial reconstruction. Clinique 7 focuses on providing tailored treatment plans that address both aesthetic desires and functional requirements, giving patients a unique and holistic approach to surgery.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Chacra is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Montreal, where he contributes to the education of future medical professionals.
